This is our basic mounting configuration. If you own one of our turntables or Custom Model Railroads you can mount the motor directly to the bottom of the pit with the motor shaft coming up through the pit floor as shown below.

How do you get power to the rails? Our system could be adapted to other turntables. We have a small PCB that goes underneath the turntable pit and has some roller pins that protrude up through the bottom and another PCB that sits on the bottom of the bridge and acts as a commutator. On our turntables we have some test point pins that stick up through the bottom of the bridge to contact the rails making the bridge removable without wires. Wires could be used too.
