The Automatic Power Routing Module (APR2) provides a method for controlling the power to the turntable service tracks and optionally the turntable lead tracks. By switching off the power to tracks that the turntable is not directed to the APR saves power to unaddressed locos and prevents accidents as running off into the pit or through the back of the roundhouse wall. The APR2 can control up to 96 service tracks by stacking up to 6 boards of 16 tracks each. It will reduce the amount of wiring necessary on the layout by not requiring switches on a control panel to be connected to the service tracks. The APR can be installed at anytime and does not have to be part of your initial installation of the PTC4.
