Room Dimensions - 37 x 14-15
I keep playing with the trackplan details but it's going to be pretty much like this. Click on image for a bigger view. The idea is to allow for operation on a narrow gauge layout. The cities say Durango and Chama but my main interest is to capture the feel of Colorado narrow gauge so the scenery will be more in line with capturing that feeling rather than trying to duplicate the scenery along that line. There will be river cliffs along the river that would be closer to the Silverton branch than the San Juan section but that's just the way it goes. I will be using Digitrax DCC for control. All my straight turnouts are #8's and the curved ones are #10's. Minimum radius is 36".
OPERATIONS
I'm just starting to try and figure out how to operate this layout. I will be using JMRI Operations.
